How it works

The same simple path, whatever your level.

Choose your hours, we plan around your test, an expert gets you ready, and you pass. The number of hours is the only thing that changes between courses.

  1. Choose your hours

Pick the course that matches your experience, or use the finder above. Unsure? We'll recommend honestly before you pay.

  2. We assess & plan around your test

Your instructor reviews where you're at and builds a lesson plan targeted at your goals and your test date.

  3. Your instructor picks you up

Expert, local, in your chosen transmission. Lessons run on your schedule, on the roads you'll be tested on.

  4. Secure an early test & pass

You book your own test; we help you land an early date and walk in prepared. Then you're on the road for good.

Questions

The essentials, answered honestly.

It depends on your experience. As a rough guide: complete beginners suit the 50-hour Elite course; newer learners with limited experience suit Advanced (35–45 hours); part-trained learners closing gaps suit Improver (20–30 hours); and those near test standard suit the Provisional refresher (10–15 hours). Use the course finder above for a quick recommendation, and remember, we assess your driving before you pay and recommend the right length honestly.
You choose your number of hours, we assess your current level and build a lesson plan around your target test date, and an expert local instructor takes you through it, either fully intensive (long lessons over one to a few weeks) or semi-intensive (shorter lessons spread over several weeks). Lessons run Monday to Sunday, 7am to 7pm, with home or workplace pickup wherever feasible.
The practical test fee is your own and isn't included. Since 12 May 2026, course providers can no longer book a learner's practical test, so you book and pay for it yourself. What we do is help you find and secure an early date, watching for cancellations and, where available, offering a test-swapping service, and make sure you're properly prepared. Theory training support is included on every course; the theory test is also booked separately with the DVSA.
Both manual and automatic are available on every course, just choose at booking and we'll match you with an instructor who teaches in that transmission. GetMyPass covers most of the UK (excluding Northern Ireland); instructor availability and pricing vary by area, so enter your postcode at booking to see availability and a local price.
No, and be wary of anyone who does. The DVSA examiner decides on the day. What we can promise, on every course, is honest, structured preparation and an instructor who'll only recommend your test when you're genuinely ready. Choosing enough hours for your experience is the single biggest thing you can do to give yourself the best chance.

Find your route.
Then get driving.

Whatever your starting point, there's a GetMyPass course built around it. Pick your hours, tell us your target date, and we'll handle the rest.
